My Journey
My fascination with the human body began at an early age. I was eight years old, staring out a frosty window when an exciting thought popped into my head: “Wouldn’t it be cool if I knew exactly how my body worked?”
This question would shape the course of my life. I studied the human body in depth in college and graduate school. From the micro (molecular biology, biochemistry, and cell biology) to the macro (anatomy, immunology, microbiology, and pathophysiology), I was mesmerized. Yet it was my own health journey that transformed my understanding of the body’s amazing restorative mechanisms that allow it to bring itself back into balance.

But it was my own health journey that transformed my understanding of the body’s amazing abilities to restore itself.
At 14, I survived ovarian cancer. Then, when working in a high-stress healthcare setting in my 30s and 40s, I developed eczema, chronic digestive issues, and frozen shoulder. This led me to explore the power of food and natural approaches to help reinstate my health. As I supported my body with nutrition and targeted supplements, my symptoms from irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), eczema, and frozen shoulder resolved. I was hooked. My real-life experience taught me what all the book learning I had completed could not: The body can restore itself naturally, when given the right tools.
In 2018, a cycling accident triggered a much deeper challenge: a complex seven-year journey through chronic illness. I faced fatigue, mold allergies, multiple chemical sensitivity disorder, tinnitus, insomnia, vertigo, a serious chronic bacterial infection (MRSA), and more—often without answers or support. But through research, persistence, and further exploration of natural approaches that lined up with my understanding of the human body and my personal experiences, I uncovered the root cause of my issues and found a path forward and a way out.

Today I am more committed than ever to supporting the body’s ability to tap into its own restorative mechanisms through natural approaches.
As a health and wellness coach, I support others on their own path back to balance. I bring together science, compassion, and lived experience to help clients understand their bodies, shift habits, and restore their health in a way that feels aligned.
It would be my honor to guide you on your journey to wellness.
